Ready to negotiate with creditors – Greek PM Tsipras

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The newly elected Greek PM Alexis Tsipras, during his first cabinet meeting, said he would negotiate with creditors over the EUR 240 billion bailout.

The PM further added that his government would negotiate over debt relief and easing austerity measures and mentioned that the priority is for the compromise with the EU. Mr. Tsipras also made it clear that he wants a balanced budget, but not ” unrealistic” surplus.

LME Inventory Update

The warehouse stocks data released daily by the London Metal Exchange (LME) showed a drop in the inventory levels of Aluminium, Zinc and Nickel. While Copper stocks witnessed a built-up, lead inventory remained unchanged.
