US markets closed higher on Monday

FXStreet (San Francisco) - Wall Street posted gains for second day on Monday on a choppy session as investors are still deciding what way to take after recent mix economic data. Internet shares boosted Nasdaq.

The Dow Jones advanced 20.55 points or 0.12% to close the day at 16,511.86; the S&P 500 added 7.22 pts or 0.38% to finish at 1,885.08; and the Nasdaq Composite won 35.23 pts or 0.86% to 4,125.81.
